I started painting when I was 50! By then, I had owned my popular retail fashion & gift boutique “JACQUE MICHELLE ” in Boulder @ Community Plaza for 2 decades & was looking for a place of pure joy, meditation & expressive color. I found it in a garden, in a water color class. I have been a dedicated artist since my first garden experience….switching to the acrylic medium for the bold saturated colors, quick drying time, layering & texture. Here, I’m painting plein aire with friends in the foothills of the Rockies.
